Apple iphone 3g does not allow usage of skype calling via the 3g network.skype calling might be expensive for the providers of 3g network.you must be logged to wifi zone for you to access skype calling.If you wants to use Skype, Fring or Truphone like apps over 3G, EDGE or GPRS you need to remove this restriction yourself, you need to first jailbreak your iPhone.
After jailbreaking iphone we can easily use skype calling in any 3g network without wifi.we need to install an application called “voipover3g”.with this you can use skype,fring,truphone or any voip provider.
How to Install voipover3g.app using Cydia Step by Step Guide :
- launch cydia
- select manage tab from below
- searh for voipover3g app and it will be listed
- select install from the right corner of screen
- select confirm for app download and installation.
- now you are free to make call from skype,truphone or fring no matter you are in edge/wifi/3g/gprs.
