The window will then inform you if you have successfully completed the installation. However, to utilize the add-on, you should click on the Restart Firefox button.
Mozilla Firefox will immediately shut down and restart, prompting you with this page.
You can click on Options to take you to the different settings and features of FastestFox.
CNET Download Installation
Downloading the add-on from CNET Download is very similar to getting it from Firefox Add-ons. The only difference is the first two steps.
First, you go to http://download.cnet.com/FastestFox/3000-11745_4-10966245.html and click Download Now.
How to Use FastestFox
One of the greatest uses of FastestFox is you can easily search for a particular topic in different places. For example, if you are looking for information about the United States, you go to Google.com, type “United States” in the Search bar, and the following page will come out:

This means that you can search anything about the United States in Amazon (if you’re looking for books), OneRiot, Yahoo, Twitter, and Surf Canyon.
If you want to explore a little bit about the United States and read more about it not only in Google but also in Wikipedia, instead of opening Wikipedia.org, you can simply highlight the word “United States” to make a bubble search engine appear.
Click the Wikipedia icon.
FastestFox also has another powerful feature called QLauncher. This one used to be a separate add-on. However, for the convenience of users, you can already have it once you install FastestFox. Its main use is to quickly let you search a particular topic in more than 10 websites.
You can then use the Google search bar to type in your subject or query and choose the website where you want to search. You can click on the website button or press the corresponding letter beside the icon.
For example, if you’re looking for information about United States in Amazon.com, type “United States” in the address bar, then click the Amazon.com icon or press A in your keyboard.
Surely, with FastestFox you can save several minutes of your research time.
