Having favicons in your blog’s address is something that helps you in branding your blog.
What is a favcion?
Favicon is the “w” that you see in this blog’s tab.
To Add Favicon for Your Blogspot Blog
Adding a favicon to your blogspot blog is not a big task and here We’ll see how you can further customize your blogspot blog.
Things you will need:-
Literally nothing just a blogspot blog and access to internet and if you are reading this article then its obvious that you have access to internet.
You also need to have image that you want as your favicon.
The image should be around 50px in dimensions.
To have image of that size click here and generate your favicon(remember to check the dimensions as 50px)
When the image re sized,save the image.
Now go to your blogger blog and make an new post and put only your favicon image in it and select the html view.
Copy the src Url from the of the image from their and paste it into a notepad.
And you should make the date of your post to something like that post will not show up in your homepage.
Now come to your layouts section and select edit html.
Press ctrl+f and a box will open at the bottom of your browser(firefox) in Internet explorer the box will be just in-front of your tabs.
Type into the box and hit next in the box.
When you get the matching code copy and paste this code just before this matching code
Now copy the image url from the notepad that you had copied earlier and paste it in place of your-icon-url.png
Hit save template and you are done.
